Yes! Whistleblowers and forward thinkers are our only hope for change and growth. They are discounted and hated while they’re alive but when they’ve been martyred they are many times counted as our greatest heroes! The reason we don’t currently have more of them, as you pointed out, is fear of retribution from the status quo. When we all stand together and protect (and even become) the whistleblowers our country and our world will be better places for more people and other creatures. Kudos Natalie! You are obviously awake.

By the way: The exact same vaccination issues were hot topics 20 years ago when my son was born. They were dangerous then and still are. Not much has changed in that arena. It’s time!

As a mother of three, all born about 10 to 17 years apart w/ 3 grandchildren, I’ve observed negative evolutional changes in our family’s immune system { thyroid syndrome }. Vaccines, processed foods, and food container issues , along w/ unmotivated lives to be educated about being proactive in knowing, has led far too many in a direction I fear may not be reversed. So I applaud all , especially those who dedicate their lives to ethical, respected fields of science that gives us all a chance to evolve to the absolute best species we can.

Why do think it must an “either or” situation? Autism is most likely caused by a number of factors. Without a doubt, thimerosal has to be the #1 leading candidate. If you examine the laundry list of ingredients in vaccines, no one in their right mind can say that vaccines can ever, in your wildest dreams, be considered safe for anyone. Vaccines are an important part of the population reduction agenda of the New World Order. Vaccines can be precisely targeted to the target. As long as the NWO groups (the CFR, TLC, Bilderberg) can convince enough of us that vaccines prevent infectious diseases from spreading, they will continue to work to make them mandatory for all. They have the money (our money) and the power (the armies and a compliant media) to keep their insidious/treacherous program alive and well.

I applaud Dr. Wakefield’s research in the field of Autism and Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy for standing up and defending Dr. Wakefield. I suspect there is more than one cause for Autism–my daughter is on the high end of the Autism Spectrum with Sensory Processing Disorder, so this issue is very near and dear to me.

A recent research article in the Gluten Intolerance Group journal (2009) also states that if the mother has an autoimmune disease–rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, Celiac disease, etc.–the children she has are at a higher risk for acquiring an Autism spectrum disorder. I discovered when I was 40 years old, when my daughter was 8 years old, that I have a severe intolerance to gluten. Not exactly Celiac disease, but it falls within the “iceberg” of celiac problems. I have to follow a gluten-free diet.

So. Who’s right? I don’t know. But vaccines certainly lower the body’s immune system threshold, and having an autoimmune disease ensures that the mother’s body isn’t receiving the proper nutrients–which means baby in utero isn’t either.

I will continue to watch with much interest as more research is done in this area.

Well Duh. Vaccinations in the past have contained mercury. At least this should have been removed based on the historical connection between mercury and brain problems (remember the Mad Hatter, baseed on workers who ingested mercury as part of their jobs making hats?). Big corporations seek to suppress “ancedotal” evidence such as the Mad Hatter and the cause of scurvy in sailors because they are not interested in cures or prevention – only selling their own often deadly drugs. I’m not familiar with Dr. Wakefield’s research but I totally support his dedication to it and to helping children. Given their courage, I also will totally support Jim Carrey’s and Jenny McCarthy’s movies whenever I can.

This article hits the nail on the head.

Dr Wakefield is a whistleblower hero in my eyes.He has been pilloried and subjected to ad hominem attacks because his “peers” are too scared to even try and discredit his science. There is NO way to show measles virus is safe to inject into all children (just as there is no way to show injecting mercury into babies is ever safe) and they KNOW it.

It’s a transparent attempt to discredit him as a “crank” before his new studies are published.THe effect of vaccines on primates.
Descending to Ad Hominem attacks again-not a rebuttal of his very careful science.

BigPharma has $billions at stake but we are thousands of parents, networking through
the internet who KNOW the truth.
Shame on the UK medical establishment for being fooled SO easily and for forcing parents of autistic children with serious measles related gut issues to take their children to the USA to get treatment every sick child is entitled to!
I don’t blame the individual Paediatric Gastroenterologists for caving in to save their careers, but I DO blame BigPharma and we parents have VERY long memories.

I have 5 children and am a new grandmother. These next generations will not be fooled by BigPharma either.
