GMO World Report
Over 60 countries around the world have either total or partial bans on GMOs. Despite claims by biotech to the contrary, these restrictions are having an adverse effect on agricultural exports from the US, where most states have no restrictions on GMOs.
In 2014, two of this country’s biggest importers of grain crops, China and Russia, adopted bans on GM crops from the US. As more countries continue to adopt bans, US agricultural exports will continue to be cut and if we wait too long, we will no longer be able to guarantee that any of our crops are safe for export to other countries.
