Gretchen DuBeau, Esq.

Gretchen DuBeau joined the Alliance for Natural Health USA (formerly the American Association for Health Freedom) as Executive and Legal Director in 2008.
A lifelong environmentalist and devotee to natural health and healing, Gretchen has found the perfect culmination of her interests at ANH-USA, where she works to shift the current medical paradigm to one that embraces real preventive and integrative medicine as the standard of care. More…

Robert is an internationally acclaimed scientist with over 25 years experience in the field of agricultural and healthcare sustainability, having worked in academia, industry and the not-for-profit sector. He has worked extensively in Africa, Asia, Australia, the Americas as well as Europe.
After leaving Imperial College London in 2002, he founded the Alliance for Natural Health, which he has headed since. His background, as a scientist, campaigner and visionary, hold him in good stead for his dual role as Executive & Scientific Director of ANH-Intl as well as its regional European office.

Meleni Aldridge has 15 years of experience as a practitioner of complementary and holistic medicine and 11 years teaching experience in her capacity as a Senior Lecturer at a UK university. She has previously worked in the banking and insurance sectors. Her initial training in health and body work was in South Africa, having spent her childhood in Zimbabwe. Her skills as a practitioner and communicator, coupled with her life-long commitment to natural medicine, bring invaluable experience to Meleni’s role as the Executive Coordinator of ANH-Intl. She originally joined ANH in 2005.

Lise Alschuler is a naturopathic doctor with board certification in naturopathic oncology and has been practicing since 1994.  She received her bachelor’s degree from Brown University in medical anthropology and her doctorate of naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University, where she also completed her residency. More…

Jeanne Drisko, MD is the Riordan Professor of Orthomolecular Medicine and director of the Program in Integrative Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr Drisko conducts integrative medicine research at the University including trials investigating efficacy and safety of intravenous ascorbate in cancer and infectious disease, safety of bioidentical ‘natural’ hormones, trial to assess chelation therapy in cardiovascular disease among other projects. He is active in several medical professional organizations, and is a past President of the country’s largest organization of complementary and alternative doctors, the American College for Advancement in Medicine (ACAM). Dr. Preuss received his BA and MD from Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, and New York City, trained for three years in internal medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center under Dr. David E. Rogers, studied for two years as a fellow in renal physiology at Cornell University Medical Center under Dr. Robert F. Pitts, and spent two years in clinical and research training in nephrology at Georgetown University Medical Center under Dr. George E. Schreiner.
During his training years, he was a special research fellow of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Following five years as an assistant and associate (tenured) professor of medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center where he became an established investigator of the American Heart Association, he returned to Georgetown Medical Center. He subsequently performed a 6-month sabbatical in molecular biology at the NIH in the laboratories of Dr. Maurice Burg. Dr. Preuss is now a tenured Professor in four departments at Georgetown University Medical Center – Biochemistry, Physiology, Medicine, and Pathology.

Robert A. (Bob) Beiswenger has a total of more than 32 years of military service with the Air Force, flying C-141s during most of his career. Bob became interested in alternative treatments because his wife came from a cancer-prone family. Unfortunately, when his wife was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, he discovered that he had to take his wife out of the “land of freedom” to a third world country for treatment.
